Inside is equally as fun: an indoor play area, dining area, reading area, and separate rooms for the different classes. For a city-central facility, they really have a lovely outdoor area for the children to play in, with a garden and worm farm. It helped mum and dad feel very much included in everything. Other celebrations were recognised, and celebrated by the kids e.g. Parents were regularly invited to special events, Mothers/Fathers Day, Christmas Party, Halloween Party to name a few.
All of these helped me to converse with my 4.5yo about her day, and extend learning to home as well. I also got some photos by Whatapp which was so special. Excellent communication via the LIFT portal, as well as regular emails with updates of what the children have been up to.

Every day is full of fun activities, and the kids enjoy every day. The Carers are all so loving and generous with their time, they make the effort to get to know each of the children personally. “Our family just loved the time we spent at Toybox North Sydney. I can see it happens with all children at the centre which shows strong engagement with the children. I’m impressed about the fact all staff knows him and know his name even though they are not in his room every day. We had to move houses and decided not to change child care because our son is very happy at Toy Box. We truly believe Toy Box has played a crucial role on this achievement. We have experienced excellent results with our child on this regard because he is now able to communicate in both English and Spanish with a good range of vocabulary, he is able to wear his shoes, and he’s eager to start toilet training. They encourage parents to actively share experiences from our children at home to provide activities that boost the development of the kids. All educators are experienced and knowledgeable. There are so many things we love at Toy Box and most of them are possible thanks to its staff. After few weeks of being at Toy Box, we felt how much care and attention was given to our child and it was reflected on his behaviour and his development. He enrolled at Toy Box when he was 1 year and 5 months after we decided to change him from a previous centre where our expectations were not met. “Our little one has been in day care since he was 9 months old (he’s now 2 years old).
